Development of a cellular application to objectively assess mobility using double-tasks tests based on numerical perturbations such as texting. This application will offer a solution better suited to today’s reality by considering the cognitive and sensorimotor challenges associated with cell phone use and its impact on mobility, while taking advantage of the available sensors to obtain objective performance metrics.

Development of an omnidirectional walking platform to allow movement in a virtual environment using a virtual reality headset. This platform will provide researchers, and eventually clinicians, a tool to assess gait in multiple environments while remaining in the safety of the lab.
