Ambient intelligence opens up new avenues of research for solving stove-related problems and enabling elderly and/or cognitively impaired people to cook without risk. The aim of the InOvUS (Smart Oven @ UdeS) project is to develop a global technological solution for stove towers that can detect and prevent risky situations, and act in the event of an accident (depending on the situation and level of risk).
