Intervention area

Start date

January 1, 2015

End date

Early detection of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is based on the difficulties encountered by people with this disease in performing complex daily activities, i.e. instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs; e.g. preparing a meal, managing finances). The overall objective is to design an early detection test for Alzheimer’s disease by assessing performance in performing activities of daily living using sensors available in a smart home.
