Saving our elders from falls: a question of pressure

Whether due to pharmacological treatments, in the context of heart failure, or orthostatic hypotension, drops in blood pressure among the elderly place them at a high risk of falls. We propose to develop a wearable technology for detecting blood pressure drops to eventually guide portable compression technologies for minimizing falls.
