Intervention area

Smart home

Start date

End date

Whether due to pharmacological treatments, in the context of heart failure, or orthostatic hypotension, drops in blood pressure among the elderly place them at a high risk of falls. This INTER mandate aims at developing a portable technology for applying pressure to the calves, to increase blood return to the heart and thereby minimizing drops in blood pressure.
