Start date

End date

This project follows Mandate 179A, which aimed to develop a wristband capable of detecting drops in blood pressure. This new mandate focuses on modifying the wristband to enable accurate blood pressure measurement and extraction of arterial stiffness. By combining PPG, force, and hydrostatic pressure sensors, the goal is to create a portable, precise, and comfortable device suitable for ambulatory monitoring of hypertensive patients or those undergoing cardiac rehabilitation. This prototype will serve as the foundation for developing a continuous home-based monitoring system.
