In neurology, current motor rehabilitation has limitations to regain or improve function. The standard of care relies on physiotherapy and a combination of fixed and predetermined (e.g one value of amplitude, frequency, etc.) neurostimulation parameters that do not account for the variability of each patient’s nervous system. Therefore, to what extent would AI-adaptive non-invasive neurostimulation therapy improve patients’ neuromuscular rehabilitation?
