The ElastUS project aims to develop and validate a portable ultrasound elastography technology for localized assessment of soft tissue elasticity. By integrating flexible ultrasound probes with a novel signal processing approach, the project paves the way for a clinically compatible palpation-based tool to improve management of musculoskeletal pain.
