Development of an Open Platform for Pediatric Musculoskeletal Modeling for Motion Analysis and Translational Research

This mandate aims to develop an open-source pediatric musculoskeletal modelling platform for biomechanical mouvement analysis in children and early adolescents. Using medical imaging, muscle property measurements, and functional assessments, the project will generate OpenSim musculoskeletal models adapted for individuals aged 10 to 14 years. The resulting models will be openly shared to support future research in orthopedics, neurology, rehabilitation, and clinical biomechanics.
