Midi-INTER – March 2024 – Cardiovascular technologies: From measuring to controlling blood pressure
Midi-INTER– March 14,2024
Céderick Landry, ING, Ph.D., Université de Sherbrooke, génie mécanique
How can we inform robotic system controllers of users’ residual abilities?
This presentation covers two important technologies in my research program: blood pressure measurement devices without the cuff, and intermittent compression devices to increase blood circulation. The presentation will conclude with an idea for a project combining the two technologies to control orthostatic hypotension in people at risk of falling.
