MIDI-INTER – May 2025 – Math and Robotics: The Key to Understanding Motor Control?
MIDI-INTER – May 22nd, 2025
Adina M. Panchea, researcher, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics Program, Université de Sherbrooke
This presentation will provide an overview of her recent research results, as well as her commitments as a researcher and the directions she is planning for her future projects. She will focus in particular on the challenge of designing artificial devices (such as robots, prostheses or rehabilitation systems) capable of reproducing human behavior. Indeed, humans possess the unique ability to adapt to various perturbations and predict actions while interacting with other individuals and sharing common environments. Through this presentation, she will highlight her engineering expertise and her potential to make a significant contribution in this field.
Objective of the presentation: Share results and present a new way of looking at co-design.
