Major efforts are currently being made by medical robotics researchers to develop robotic systems designed to assist practitioners in their interventions. The use of these robotic assistants offers a number of advantages, such as improved patient care, improved working conditions for practitioners and reduced intervention costs. On this occasion, Juan Sandoval will present some of the medical assistance robotic platforms he is involved in developing as part of his research activities in France (LS2N and Pprime laboratories of the CNRS).
