The potential of magnetorheological actuators in rehabilitation
Thematic workshop
In collaboration with INTER, Pre Catherine Veronneau, a new researcher at UdeS and member of INTER, organized a thematic workshop on magnetorheological (MR) actuators and their emerging applications in rehabilitation, held on January 13, 2026, in Sherbrooke. This workshop aimed to bring together researchers, clinicians, engineers, and industry partners around a common goal: to explore the unique potential of MR technologies to transform rehabilitation, whether through the development of portable assistive devices, advanced measurement of human mechanical properties, or increased motor engagement.
