In recent years, an exoskeleton robot has been designed and built for the rehabilitation of upper limbs following injury, spinal cord trauma or stroke. The aim of this mandate is to further explore the active mode by developing ‘active-assisted’ rehabilitation exercises, enabling a person to reach a pre-determined target by hand.
