This project involves adapting a mapping algorithm for mobile robot navigation, to create a software application that generates 3D models from images taken in real environments. This application will provide a tool to help occupational therapists carry out assessments in which home representations are essential to meet the needs of the elderly. The aim is to develop a first prototype using devices equipped with motion tracking and depth camera technology, such as the Google Tango tablet or the Lenovo Phab2 smartphone.
