227 HANDEx in progress

Design and Development of a Mechatronic Device for Finger Training in Eccentric-Concentric Modes

Intervention area

Mobility

Start date

September 1, 2026

End date

January 31, 2028

The HANDEx project aims to develop an interactive biomechatronic device enabling controlled and individualized eccentric-concentric finger training. The system will integrate motors, biomechanical sensors, and real-time feedback to support motor training, musculoskeletal injury prevention, and hand rehabilitation. The project specifically targets musicians, climbers, and individuals with neuromotor hand impairments.
