Mechanical pressure mapping platform for generating stable exoskeleton locomotion

Intervention area

Mobility

Start date

(continued from mandate 16). The aim of this mandate is to improve the manufacturing process for carbon nanotube (CNT) compression sensor arrays, ensuring uniform sensor density while maintaining optimum sensitivity and accuracy in the context of exoskeleton sole use and design, or for the user. More specifically, as part of this mandate, pressure sensors (a sensor array) will be placed under the soles of an exoskeleton, via validation on a humanoid mini-robot (DARwIn-OP), in order to estimate ground reaction forces on the soles.
