053 RobotSphérique

Spherical robot as a diagnostic tool associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)

Intervention area

Mobility

Start date

February 1, 2015

End date

August 1, 2015

Diagnosing ASD remains a challenge for modern medicine, as it is a purely clinical diagnosis. In order to further standardize existing diagnostic tools, it seems that the use of robots could offer an interesting avenue. The aim of this project is to determine whether robots can be used to diagnose and/or treat ASD patients, and thus address the three issues at stake.
