To offer unique opportunities to graduate students: exchange knowledge on virtual applications, create an environment for researchers and students to present their recent work and discuss opportunities for collaborations; foster knowledge transfer and a better understanding of clinical needs in the rehabilitation, computer science and game design communities; impact rehabilitation, neurological prosthetics, medical robotics and brain-machine interface; reward a young researcher for outstanding contribution in the field of virtual reality for rehabilitation during the ISVR Early Career Award presentations.
