This mandate is in line with the approach initiated by the 80-OpenIMU mandate, which focuses on the identification of needs and the development of an open software environment. The mandate focuses more specifically on the hardware aspects of inertial units. It will identify devices available on the market that could be used to meet the needs formulated for the project, procure them, and validate that the specifications of these devices comply with the requirements.
