A real-time animatable AVATar for ORtophonic rehabilitation

The objective of the AVAT-OR mandate is to develop an avatar whose face is animated in real time by a user in a pediatric speech therapy context. The deliverable consists of a shoulder/head avatar whose lips, cheeks, jaw and eyebrow movements correspond to the real-time movements of diodes captured by an infrared camera (Optotrak © system). Movements related to the articulation of speech sounds and facial expressions will thus be reproduced.
