The mandate is to develop a system capable of improving the daily lives of patients with motor deficiencies in the upper limb (clinical contribution), mainly children, by means of non-invasive technologies. This will be achieved by slaving the orientation of the JACO arm’s end effector to the user’s gaze (technological contribution), in order to reduce the time needed to perform everyday tasks (social contribution).
