Start date

A monitoring and assistance system based on Internet of Things and artificial intelligence (URFI-NET) will be developed and deployed in an intensive functional readaptation unit in the care center of the Centre de réadaptation-Estrie. On the one hand, URFI-NET will enable clinicians to know where problematic patients are and to intervene when necessary. On the other hand, URFI-NET will assist and calm them when they are in their bedrooms. Two version of URFI-NET will be compared: one with fixed sensors without any user identification, the other combining fixed sensors and wearables enabling to identify specific users.
